The Gyalbo Laura Foundation was founded in 2019 by Mr. Lhaku Gyalbo Ghale, a lifelong resident of Goljung, Rasuwa, and founder of Gyalbo Guest House. Moved by his community’s warmth and the challenges they face — from limited education and healthcare to the need for sustainable livelihoods — he envisioned a way to give back.
What began as a local dream has become a bridge between global supporters and the village of Goljung, built on trust, respect, and a commitment to long-term change. Every stay, donation, and organic purchase directly supports this mission.
